San Jose, CA--- Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment (SVS&E) announced
today that Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank will continue at HP Pavilion
at San Jose on Thursday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. Featured on the card will be
the WBC’s #1 ranked contender Diego Morales (34-2, 25 KO’s) of Tijuana, MX.
Morales will face former NABA World Champion Alberto Ontiveros (21-10-5, 19
KO’s) in the evening’s 10-round main event.
In the semi-main event lightweight Arturo Quintero (13-2, 9 KO’s) of Las
Vegas, NV will take on Pedro Mora (2-10) of Los Mochis, MX in a six round
bout. Also appearing on the card is local light welterweight female fighter
Eliza Olsen (8-4-3, 2 KO’s) who will fight Gloria Ramirez (9-13-5, 1 KO) of
El Paso, TX in a six round bout, super welterweight Jose Garcia (0-1) who
will fight Rene Auguaristi who will be making his professional debut in a
four round bout and Light Heavyweight Joe Bradley (3-6, 1 KO) of Richmond,
CA who will fight Guadalupe Acosta (2-1) of San Francisco, CA in a four
round bout. Fighters are subject to change.

Mexico’s championship family of boxing comes to Miller Lite Fight Night at
the Tank as the world’s top rated WBC Bantamweight contender Diego Morales
(34-2, 25 KO’s), brother of WBC Champion Erik Morales, fights in a 10 round
main event against the tough and rugged, Alberto Ontiveros (21-10-5, 19
KO’s) in a 10-round bout. Morales 34-2 is currently ranked by the WBC as the
#1 contender in the world with hopes of a major world title shot by year’s
end. Ontiveros is the former NABA Champion and has fought in 3 world title
bouts.
Also making a special guest appearance at Miller Lite Fight Night at the
Tank will be Erik “El Terrible” Morales (48-2, 34 KO’s). Fresh off his
victory over Manny Pacquiao to capture the vacant WBC International Super
Featherweight World Championship and the vacant IBA Super Featherweight
title in Las Vegas last month, Morales will be on hand to watch his brother
make his first ever appearance at Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank.
Making her Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank debut is Eliza Olsen
(8-4-3, 2 KO’s) of Redwood City. Rated #7 by the WBAN, Olsen is the
granddaughter of “Bo Bo” Olsen, former middle weight champion of the world.
Olsen will take on Gloria Ramirez (9-13-5, 1 KO) of El Paso, TX. Olsen
and Ramirez fought previously in January of 2001 with Ramirez capturing a
four-round unanimous decision. This re-match is scheduled for six rounds.
Additional bouts on the under card include Jose Garcia (0-1) taking on Rene
Aguaristi who will be making his professional debut at the Tank. Former
world-ranked kick boxer turned boxer, Guadalupe “El Dragon” Acosta 2-1 from
San Francisco takes on Joe “Baby Tyson” Bradley (3-6) in a bout scheduled
for six rounds.
In addition to the April 14 event, three more dates are scheduled for later
in the year: July 21, September 15 and November 17. All cards are also
scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Dates are subject to change.
SVS&E, the company that oversees all aspects of business operations for the
San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, also oversees HP Pavilion
Management, the San Jose Stealth of the National Lacrosse League. Logitech
