(AUG 4) Christy Martin will be fighting IBA Super Lightweight Champion Holly
Holm on Sept. 16 at the Isleta Casino and Resort in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
After Lucia Rijker pulled out with an "injury" of the Million Dollar Lady
bout, Christy wanted to get back in the ring as soon as possible.
Christy is going into Holly's backyard to fight a young southpaw champion to
prove to the boxing world that she not only "talks the talk, but walks the
walk". There will be a press conference Aug. 11 to announce the fight and
tickets will go on sale then.
This fight is definitely going to be a barn-burner! Mary Ann Owen of
