(JAN 27) Today the weigh-in was held for tomorrow's bout in Cancún, Mexico.  Jackie Nava will be defending her WBC super-bantamweight title, when she fights Kelsey Jeffries, of Gilroy, California.

Serrano-Garcia said, "I was at the weight in today and I spoke to both Jackie and Kelsey and this is what they said to me about the fight tomorrow night.

Kelsey: "You are gonna see a war, you are gonna see the best fight of the night. I`m gonna show you what a real fighter looks like, it`s gotta be a good fight. I don`t care if it`s storming outside, if it`s raining, hurricane coming; I`m gonna fight."

Jackie:  "I came here well prepared, I`m 100% and I will get the victory no matter what her weight is. I know that she is strong, that she is a warrior, she always comes to fight but I`ll be working on that."

Serrano-Garcia said that Jackie was talking about the weight because she made 53.300 Kg. and Kelsey made 54.400Kg.

"Both fighters are really motivated and I`m sure we are going to see a great women`s fight, no matter who the winner will be, women`s boxing is going to win, that`s for sure", Added Serrano-Garcia.
