(FEB 9) The already action packed night
of February 16 at Harrah’s in Kansas City, Missouri is now complete.
Jeannine Garside, (4-0) returns to the ring for the first
time since claiming her WIBA title in November for a scheduled six
rounds against Kim Colbert, (2-8-0). Colbert who is always
tough has battled the best in women’s boxing including Kelsey
Jeffries, Chevelle Hallback and Kara Ro; Sandra "Smashin’ Smo" Ortiz
(5-3-1) and Holly "The Baby Faced Assassin" Shores (6-0-1) will
square off for six rounds.
Still scheduled are Hollie "Hot
Stuff" Dunaway (14-4, 9 KO’s) in a WIBA minimum weight title
defense against Melissa "Haymaker" Shaffer (8-2, 5 KO’s) in
the main event; a six-round co-main event with lightweight action
between Kelly Cofer, (12-3-4) and Liz Drew, (11-8-0),
both of Missouri; a light heavy bout with Bose Iajola, (0-1),
facing LaMara Iverson, cousin of NBA superstar Allen Iverson
in her pro debut. The fight at Harrah’s in Kansas City
is the second AROTO match for 2006.
