(JUNE 11) Last night at the Majestic
Valley Arena, in Kalispell, Montana, and promoted by Club
Boxing, local favorite, Shelley Burton, 157.4, fought
to a 10-round draw against Dakota Stone, 159, of Seattle,
Washington. The two were fighting for the vacant NABF title.
In what was described as the fight of the night, Burton and Stone
did women's boxing proud as the two battled to the draw.
Promoter Bob Le Coure made history when he put this first-ever world
title bout on an event in Montana.
