(OCT 7) Last night at the Coeur d'Alene Casino in Worley, Idaho, welterweight Angelica Martinez, (6-2-1, 1 KO), Dallas, Texas, won a ten round unanimous decision over female boxing legend Christy Martin (46-5-2, 31 KOs), Orlando, Florida.

Martinez has continued to be impressive as a pro, as she has taken on fierce competition,  that include Martin, Holly Holm, Mariem Brakache, and Yvonne Reis.

Final judges scores were 97-96, 97-93, and 96-94.
