(SEPT 8) WBAN was notified early
yesterday that in the (AP) news, it was reported that female boxer
Cindy "Checkmate" Serrano, a talented boxer from New York, was
arrested along with 24 other persons.

What WBAN finds amazing about stories as
these, and other tragic stories on women boxers, is that this is
when we see exposure given to the women on other news-worthy
websites on the net.
When we have so many positive events happen in the sport--do you see THAT
"News" on these other high-profile sites---very seldom to say the
least.
But if a female boxer gets arrested, or something else tragic occurs
to a female boxer---they jump frothing at the mouth to get that
"selective reporting" news out on the net and in the media.
