(SEPT 15) Tonight at the Campo Grande,
Mato Grasso do Sul, Brazil, there will be four women's boxing bouts
on the card. In the main event, Duda Yankovich, will be fighting
Liliana Palmera in a 10-round WIBA junior welterweight title bout.
In a second title bout, Simone Duarte da Silva will face Paulina
Cardona, for the
WIBA Bantamweight South American Title. The two will be fighting
eight rounds.
On the undercard, Leticia Rojo will
fight Sueli Caroline Abreu in a four rounder, junior welterweight
division.
Also, Tatiana Giordano vs. Gislane Vieira dos Santos, Four rounds,
junior welterweight division.
Yesterday at the weigh-in: Yankovich - 62.5 kg; Palmera - 61.5
kg; Da Silva - 53.1 kg; Cardona - 53.2 kg; Rojo - 63.5 kg; Abreu -
