(NOV 14) Last night in
Baden-Württemberg, Germany, junior middleweight Karolina Lukasik,
of Poland, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Yahaira
Hernandez of the Dominican Republic. Lukasik won the super
welterweight WIBF, GBU world titles, and the WBC Interim
Championship. Final judges’ scores were 100-87, 100-87, and 100-88.
Also, on the undercard, junior bantamweight Magdalena Dahlen,
of Germany, won a four-round majority decision over Viktoria
Oleynik of the Ukraine. Final judges scores were 39-38, 38-38,
and 39-37.
