(APR 3) Tonight at the Cowtown Coliseum,
in Fort Worth, Texas, Vanessa Juarez of Fort Worth, was set
to fight Crystal Hoy in a six-rounder in the main event, but
Hoy had to pull out of the fight.
Two noted boxers were offered the fight with Juarez but did not take
on the challenge for one reason or another.
One boxer who did take up the challenge, is Kerri Hill of
Russellville, Arkansas, who at this time is heavier than Juarez.
Juarez will step up in weight class to fight as a super
featherweight.
Juarez is finding that she will need to move around in weight
classes a tad bit to stay active.
