(APR 16) An interesting matchup on the
horizon will feature Canadian Natalie “Too Bad” Brown, who will face
WIBA World lightweight champion Emiko Raika, of Tokyo, Japan.
The two will be fighting on May 9, 2008, in Tokyo, Japan. Brown is
no stranger to tough competition and this fight with Raika will be
no different. Raika comes into the fight with 21 pro fights on her
record. In Brown’s last fight, she fought Kelli Cofer who had over
20 fights, and she defeated Cofer by a decision. Natalie told WBAN
that she is willing to fight the best and will travel into her
opponent’s backyard to do it.
Brown was born in Maryland, but has lived in Jamaica, Georgia (USA),
and Canada. She began boxing in 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia, by taking
aerobic kickboxing classes at Biggs Morrison Boxing Gym to get in
shape while a freshman at Georgia Perimeter College.
Brown paid her
dues in the amateurs before turning pro, and it is clearly evident
that her experience has prepared as a professional. She is currently
undefeated with a 5-0-0 (3KO) record.
