(JULY 12) Charity 'Scary' Mukami will
have her fourth professional fight tonight at the Jeevanjee Gardens
garden in the Central Business District of Nairobi, Kenya, when she
steps in the ring against Batroba Lihavi. Mukami who made a fine
start to her professional career with a good performance against
Conjestina Achieng last year, has said that she is only preparing
for one thing. To take over Achieng's position as the top draw
female boxer in Kenya.
This will be the second time Mukami and Lihavi face each other. They
first fought each other in August 2007. Mukami has a record of 2
wins and one loss while her opponent has a 0-3 record, her best
performance being against the seasoned Tanzanian, Monica Mwakasanga
in an 8 round decision loss in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
The card is one of the fights of the Street Fight promoted by
Timebomb Promotions. The outdoor fight has entry for free, but a fee
will be charged for the ring side seats.
