(JULY 18) WBAN received a press release
today, reporting that Kaliesha “Wild Wild” West, 9-0-0 (1KO), will
be returning to her weight class [Bantamweight], and will be
fighting Cynthia Talmadge, 2-1-0 (2KO). The two will fight on the
undercard of ESPN2’s Wednesday Night Fights.
“West will again be fighting in front of her home crowd on July 23rd
as the bout is scheduled to take place at the Morongo Casino Resort
and Spa in Cabazon, California. This will be a great battle with two
of California’s top bantamweight’s going toe to toe in pursuit of a
world title,” as quoted in the release.
