(MAY 22) There is boxing action
worldwide for women's boxing tonight. WBAN will give a quick glimpse
of tonight's action!
In Mexico City, Mexico, at the Auditorio Plaza Condesa, in a
(interim) WBC world title bout, Mariana Juarez will be fighting
Susana Vazquez. The two will be fighting 10 rounds in the flyweight
division. The fight should be televised on Mexico Cadena 3.
In New Zealand, at the Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre, super
featherweight Erin McGowan, will take on Christina Tai in a six
rounder.
On the undercard at the Officer Palace, in Saint Petersburg, in
Russia, pro debuter Susana Sukiakyan will face another new boxer on
the scene, strawweight Evgeniya Zablotskaya, in a four round bout.
In Bahia, Brazil, at the Colegio Municipal, another 10-round bout
will take place between super bantamweight Halana Dos Santos vs. an
unknown boxer to WBAN, Railda Borge. She is listed as making her pro
debut in a 10-round bout---we hope this is not the case---, and that
her record is just not known at this time!
Lastly, in Berlin, Germany, in another undercard fight, welterweight
Jennifer Retzke will fight Ramona Hartwig. These two are new boxers
on the scene.
