(JUNE 2) A documentary called "Königin
im Ring" (Queen of the Ring) about the life and boxing career of
Regina Halmich is scheduled to be released to German cinemas on June
3rd. This news is according to the film company
progess-film.de-----BUT Regina Halmich is trying to stop the
documentary being shown at cinemas through the court of law.
The former world champion claims that she took part in documentary
on the understanding that it would be shown on TV only. She feels
deceived by the film maker and is claiming for damages.
It is uncertain if the documentary will open at Karlsruhe on 3rd
June, but one thing is certain; Regina Halmich will not be present
there if it does.
