(AUG 15)  WBAN recently contact Melinda "2 Cute" Woody, who has not been in the boxing scene since her last fight in 2008.  She told WBAN the following:

"I took a couple years off of boxing because it seemed like what God needed me to do at the time. toward the end of my boxing a person I was working with got ill, and it seemed as if everything was falling apart. I am a single mother of three, and I am in my last year of college.
I will have my Bachelor's in Exercise Science with an Emphasis in Physical Education. "

"I am definitely not finished with boxing----I have some unfinished business left. My record is very deceiving, and I intend to fix that within the next few months. I live approximately two hours from Terri Moss, and we have been discussing her training me and helping me to accomplish what I set out to accomplish 6 years ago. "

"I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and God knew that my children needed me and I needed to finish my education. I will be making a comeback. So, you guys can be expecting it. Thank you., Melinda "2 cute" Woody"
