(SEPT 27) On Friday night at the
Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan, there were eight women's bouts on
the card.
Lightweight Fujin Raika, 134½, won a 10-round unanimous decision
over Bronwyn Wylie, 133½, for the vacant OPBF lightweight
title. Final judges scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92.
In another bout, strawweight
Naoko Fujioka, 104¾, won a 10-round unanimous decision over
Kanittha Tungsongtaksin, 104¾. The two were fighting for the
vacant OPBF Strawweight title. Final judges scores were 98-92,
98-92, and 98-93.
Other results:
Mini-flyweight Mami Ito won an
six-round majority decision over Mari Ando. Atomweight Ayaka Miyao won an four-round unanimous decision over

Bantamweight Kai Johnson won an four-round split decision over
Mari Inamoto.
Bantamweight Noriko Ishikawa won an four-round unanimous
decision over Emi Kitawaki.

Super-flyweight Kazuko Okuyama TKO'd Hisako Takeuchi in the
third round of a scheduled four-round bout.
