Latest Update on Isra Girgrah!
January 1, 2011

WBAN had the pleasure of talking with retired multi-world champion Isra Girgrah, 28-3-2 (11 KOs), who's last fight was on March 27, 2004.  Girgrah told WBAN the following:

"Since retiring from inside ring in 2004, I have had two beautiful baby girls! They are now 5 and 3. My husband and I promoted for a few years and our last venture was with Mike Tyson in Washington, DC,  in 2005 along with Laila Ali, through our company Raging Promotions."

" I am now a nutrition consultant and dabble in personal training. I also wrote and self-published a book on nutrition-"Simplifying Nutritional Wealth", which is online at iwynn.net or amazon.com."

"My husband and I also have three other companies that keep us busy working from home. In 2009, I was inducted into the Washington, DC Boxing Hall of Fame which was a great honor."

"I sometimes help condition amateur boxers because I believe in taking your training to the next level and staying ahead of the game. I continue to train and stay in shape because the love of boxing is still strong in my heart and blood! "
