(JAN 13) Executive Director Ed Picson reported this week that amateur boxing talent 28-year old Annie Albania has been dropped from the national team after failing to return to training camp last week.

Picson told the Malaya.com News that she had not communicated with the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines since the holiday break.

WBAN had run a past story in August of 2010, when this Amateur boxing team with Picson, including Annie Albania got a pleasant surprise when WBO and IBA Super bantamweight World Champion Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton led the welcoming party at the San Francisco International airport upon their arrival when they trained in California.
