(JAN 14) WBAN received news that Christy Martin and Dakota Stone will be fighting on the Showtime card, that will be held at the MGM Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 12th! Contracts have been signed.

We have learned that Martin and Stone will be the first fight on the Pay-Per-View, and the two will be fighting six rounds. This will be a rematch for the two, when they first fought in 2009, in an exciting 10-round bout for the WBC Middleweight title. Martin won the first fight by a majority decision--so this should be a very competitive action-packed bout.

WBAN has been told that there will be a press Conference in New York for this major PPV card that will take place at the MGM Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

I spoke to Dakota Stone by phone, as she is in Las Vegas today---and she told me that she is extremely excited about fighting Martin in the rematch.  Stone is planning to be doing her training near Portland, Oregon, and I will be visiting her at the gym when she trains for this upcoming fight.
