(JAN 15) On February 12, 2011, at
the Sky Ute Casino Resort, in Ignacio, Colorado, on the "Battle
at the Rockies" boxing card, Layla McCarter of Las Vegas,
Nevada, will be fighting Cimberly "kim" Harris in a six round
bout. The fight will be at 154 lbs., and McCarter is moving up
in weight class to get a shot to the welterweight and super
welterweight title.
Team McCarter told WBAN, "It is very hard to get an opponent for
McCarter in the 135 and 140 lbs. Layla will fight again at the
end of February. Layla is ready to fight and beat anyone."
In another female bout on the card, Amanda Crespin, of Las
Vegas, New Mexico, she will be fighting Brittany Cruz, of
Denver, Colorado.
The main event will feature a men's bout between Elco Garcia vs.
Patrick Thompson, plus additional men's bouts. on the card The
Sky Ute Casino Resort is a beautiful venue for this upcoming
