McLeod-Wells to fight McMorrow in New York!
January 29, 2011

(JAN 29) Keisher "Fire" McLeod-Wells will fight in her first six round bout on February 9, 2011. The fight is being promoted by DiBella Entertainment and is part of his New York Boxing Series.  The show will be at BB King Blues Club and Grill, located at 237 W. 42nd St., New York City.

Keisher “Fire”McLeod-Wells steps back into the ring on February 9th against Melissa “Mighty” McMorrow at the BB King Blues club and Grill in Times Square, NY.

The Dibella Entertainment fight card will feature many of NY’s up and coming stars with the likes of Steven Martinez and main event Gabriel “Tito” Bracero. McLeod-Wells (3-1) is coming off a convincing unanimous decision win on March 31st against the undefeated Mexican fighter Laura Gomez. In what was supposed to be a tough outing, McLeod-Wells dominated her opponent and is now looking forward to her next challenge. That challenge will come against the tough and experienced McMorrow (4-1-3) who herself is coming off points win on May 13th over Gloria Salas in her home state of California.

Melissa “Mighty” McMorrow hails from San Francisco, California and has been boxing professionally for 2 years. In that time she has stepped through the ropes 8 times and has only suffered 1 defeat by way of majority decision.

In what looks to be a very competitive bout, New York’s Keisher “Fire” McLeod-Wells and the California native Melissa “Mighty” McMorrow will square off on Feb. 9th over 6 rounds at BB Kings Blues Club and Grill on 42nd Street in Times Square.
