WBC Cares Helps Support Fight Against Breast Cancer
August 10, 2011

(AUG 10) The WBC Cares members Raylene Carbone and Stephen Blea, joined several local sponsors in supporting local Denver resident Debbie Aguila, in her continuing battle against Breast cancer!

Boxing & Sports memorabilia bidding and a raffle, a dinner were part of the benefit.  The most touching part of the event was the singing of Debbie's six year old great niece, Iyciss Atencio, believe me there was not a dry eye in the place. (Song was Miley Cyrus "The Climb")

Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2008. Since she has had surgery and thirty three radiation treatments. Debbie had been cancer free for almost three years until a biopsy done this past April determined that the cancer had come back. Debbie was faced with the most difficult decision she would have to ever make in order to save her life. "A double mastectomy would be her only option" Debra will undergo several more surgeries this year in order to be rid of this terrible disease that so many women like her are going through.

On behalf of our WBC Cares Program and our WBC we will give our Heart and total ongoing support to Debbie Aguila and her family members, boyfriend Dave Pacheco, and her son Santino Aguila, in her battle against cancer. Debbie Aguila stated "I am not dying of cancer, I am LIVING with it!". Words of a True Champion!

We want also Thank Debbie's sisters, Janet, Cathy and Gina for letting us be involved in such heartwarming, loving and awesome cause, in being a part of supporting Debbie, LOL Raylene & Stephen.
