Behind the Scenes in Las Vegas with TaTina "Lil Tyson" Anderson!
Photos/Mary Ann Owen
August 12, 2011

(AUG 12) Yesterday at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino,  in Las Vegas, Nevada, photographer Mary Ann Owen was shooting the Showtime boxing press conference, for the anticipated boxing card to take place this Saturday night at the Hard Rock.  In the main event,  Abner Mares will be fighting Joseph Agbeko for the IBF and WBC Silver Bantamweight Titles.  On the undercard, Eric Morel will also be fighting on the card.

On scene at the press conference was up-and-coming boxing star TaTina "Lil Tyson" Anderson. (WBAN can safely say Anderson is an up-and-coming star in the sport---due to firsthand comments we receive about her and her talent in the ring.)

Anderson did yesterday, what WBAN has continued to advise women boxers to do and that is----ATTEND PRESS CONFERENCES, whether you are on the card or not.

In fact, if you are a female boxer, and you live in the area, go to any and all weigh-ins, press conferences, and mix and mingle with the boxing folks on scene.  Get your name out there with them, and let them know who you are.

Mary Ann Owen told WBAN, 'We introduced TaTina to many of the Champs and promoters."

"We like to take our fighters to meet everyone at the press conferences to get them exposure, we also take them to the fights, in this case Tina .. she met a lot of great people including Al Bernstein & our friend the promoter Sampson Lewkowicz. I think it is very important for the women boxers to go to the fights and be seen, nothing better than good PR", added Owen.

Nice Coverage Mary Ann!
