Fundraiser for the Retired Boxers Foundation: Proceeds to be presented at Holm vs. Mathis Card!
by Sue TL Fox
November 15, 2011

(NOV 15) This year the sport of women's boxing is set to see one of the biggest women's boxing fights in the history of the sport when Anne Sophie Mathis of France, fights Holly Holm on December 2, 2011, at the Route 66 Casino Hotel, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In celebration of this huge card, WBAN has decided to have a first-time Fundraiser to raised money for the Retired Boxers Foundation (RBF) to help the Retired Boxers.  At this upcoming event we plan to hand deliver the proceeds (100%) to Alex "The Bronx Bomber" Ramos, President of the Retired Boxers Foundation, and Jacquie Richardson, the RBF Executive Director at the weigh-in on December 1, 2011.

WBAN now has ALL MEMORABILIA listed on the Fundraiser segment for boxing fans to purchase.

A quick summary of what we have listed are the following: MEN and WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONS who have AUTOGRAPHED gloves for WBAN.  Some of those champions includes, i.e., ANN WOLFE, a multi-world champion who now trains James Kirkland; HOLLY HOLM autographed gloves and photos; SUGAR RAY LEONARD and RAY LAMPKIN who signed a glove for WBAN on October 8, 2011 in Ridgefield, Washington; JOHNNY TAPIA; HASIM RAHMAN; ANTONIO TARVER; RICARDO MAYORGA; ROGER MAYWEATHER; ROBERT GUERRERO;  EDDIE MUSTAFA MUHAMMAD;  MARY JO SANDERS;  GROUP AUTOGRAPHED GLOVES with MULTIPLE FEMALE WORLD CHAMPIONS;  MIA ST. JOHN autographed Calendar;    WBAN Sports Blankets; DVD Shadow Boxer featuring LUCIA RIJKER, and more...

I hope that the boxing community would like to purchase some of the items that we have up for grabs, and know that their purchase will go directly to the RBF to help the very athletics who provided us with entertainment in the sport when they were active.

We use PAYPAL for the purchase of any of the items.  To Go to Memorabilia Items available for Purchase, go here!
