(DEC 9) On WBAN we
currently have an Independent board that are responsible for
voting and helping with making rules for the WBAN World
Independent belts. The board members on that committee are
Bernie McCoy, Brian Ackley, and Rick McLean.
I also currently have in place an independent source who is in
charge of the computerized WBAN World Ratings, which is
Dee Williams.
I am now seeing a great need in having an independent "Boxing
Judge" board for WBAN.
This board is to assist fighters in having their video footage
viewed by qualified persons, that are not paid by promoters, or
other boxing entities to view these tapes. The boxing
judges would then give their take on the video footage.
WBAN is continuing to see boxers "robbed" of decisions worldwide,
and we are being contacted about these fights, with video provided to
us.
I would like to ask the public "who would be qualified to view
video footage" of these submitted fights who would like to
be on this independent board---from what would be viewed from
the video(s), WBAN would then do a report on their findings and
publish those findings and also submit the report to the parties
involved with the bout.
WBAN is continuing to see fighters who have been robbed, and
they will then contact the
Federations and get absolutely "no response" at times from their appeals.
We may not be able to help the boxer with the federation, but we
can certainly begin the documentation process that will be
written in reports of these findings on WBAN. This
information can help other boxers who may be looking at fighting
in various areas, and it would also help expose what is going
on worldwide.
If you are interesting in this unpaid voluntary position of
being on the "Boxing Judge" board on WBAN, please contact me by
email. When emailing me, please give details as to
your background in the sport. Contact:
wban100@aol.com.
We cannot have any WBAN
Independent judges connected to managing or training pro boxers,
or connected with promoters on this board.
Also, I am open to ideas on how
to make this a successful and productive segment on WBAN to
help the boxers.
Sincerely,
Sue TL Fox
