Barbie-Garcia Final Presser
Report and photos by Pepe Rodriguez/WBC
December 9, 2011

(DEC 9)  In front of a spectacular view of the Caribbean sea in Xcaret Quintana Roo, Mexico, the WBC flyweight World Champion, Mariana la "Barbie" Juarez, face again Diana la "Torbellino" Gonzalez in the official announcement of the great boxing card "Duelo de Diosas Mayas en Xcaret", that will be held this Saturday December 10th at the Tlaxco Arena of this beautiful town.

In this great event, there will be also two WBC World title fights:

Reyes the "King" Sanchez, who is ranked # 5 in the lightweight division, will dispute the vacant WBC lightweight silver world crown against the native of Cancun and former bantamweight WBC world Champion, Rodolfo el "Rudy" Lopez.

And in the other hand, Carlos el "Profeta" Cardenas, from Venezuela, will be defending for the first time his WBC Continental Americas world crown against the dangerous fighter, Pablo el "Lagarto" Sanchez, from Tabasco, Mexico.

So this will be a very exiting weekend for the sport of boxing in the Riviera Maya and will be broadcasted by Televisa Deportes and Cadena tres (Channel 28), to all Mexico and Latin America.
