(APR 13)  On April 10, 2012, at Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan,
Naoko Shibata won an eight-round unanimous decision, with scores of (79-73, 79-73, 78-74)over Cho-Rong Son of South Korea. There were no knockdowns but Shibata completely dominated the bout and successfully defended her OPBF title.  The OPBF had decided reduction of the number of rounds for Female title fights (10 to 8 rounds) in last December.  From 2012, all OPBF female title fights schedule 2 minutes x 8 rounds.
