(SEPT 20) Jr. Flyweight
Marisol Miranda is boxing in her native land in Puerto Rico, on
September 27th against Jr. Fly Champion Yesica Yolanda Bopp, in
a scheduled WBO 10 round title fight, to be aired on direct TV
at El San Juan Hotel & Casino. Marisol’s record doesn’t
represent the difficult opponent she is since she has been in
the game for 10 years. At first, Marisol was boxing out of her
weight division but after time away with her family.
She came back to Bonnie Canino’s
Boxing gym with new goals. The opportunity in the last 3 ½ years
has been slow in the fight game. Marisol had a chance to fight
Yesica Bopp last year turning it away to get more experience.
Marisol has trained hard for this fight and looks to take it
away Thursday night and become the next champion of the world.
