Castaneda to fight Maria Suarez in Rematch on Gary Shaw Productions Card

(JAN 21)  On January 25, 2013, Gary Shaw Productions is scheduled to have his first of "more to come boxing events in 2013" at the Chumash Resort Casino in Santa Ynez, California. The upcoming event is entitled "Central Coast Championship Night".

There will be a female bout featured on the card.  Maria Suarez, 2-0-1 will fight Abigail Castaneda, 3-1-2, of Torrance, California. The two will be fighting either a four or six rounder in the super flyweight division. This will be a rematch for the two. In their first fight that took place on September 21, 2012, Castaneda, 114, fought to a four-round majority draw against Suarez, 113.
 

In the mainliner super bantamweight Roman Morales, 13-0 (6KO), of San Ardo, California, will face Jose Iniguez, 6-14 (1KO), of  Tijuana, Mexico, in an eight-round bout. 

"I'm thrilled that I'll be returning to the Chumash Casino Resort to present another great season of boxing shows," said Gary Shaw. "The folks at the Chumash have been great to work with and we plan to stay associated with them for many years."

Francisco Santana, vs. Dustin Reinhold
Eight rounds - co-main event/super welterweight

Ruffino Serrano vs. Edwin Solis
Six-rounds, featherweight division.

Valentino Knowles vs. Alejandro Ochoa
Super Featherweight

Middleweight

Roy Tapia vs. Jesus Adame
