Yesica Bopp Set to fight Kika Chavez for WBC Silver Title
by Sue TL Fox
May 29, 2013

(MAY 29) There has been quite a stir in regards to the upcoming WBC Silver world title fight featuring Yesica "Tuti" Bopp, 24-0-0 (11KO), Buenos Aires, Argentina, current holder of the WBA/WBO light flyweight titles, who will be facing Kika Chavez, 17-3-2 (4KO) of Mexico City, Mexico, in a 10 rounder, this Saturday, June 1,  at the Estadio Morelos, Ecatepec, México.

Bopp arrived this week to Mexico in anticipation of her fight against Chavez in this title bout.  Chavez will be defending the WBC Silver light flyweight title, after she had won the belt on February 23, 2013, against Irma Sanchez. This fight was rated five stars with Boxrec, so it should be a very exciting matchup for these two.

A press conference was held earlier today, with both boxers, Bopp and Chavez, along with WBC President Jose Sulaiman in photos.

RETURN OF BOPP FROM ARGENTINA: BERISTAIN

Press Promociones del Pueblo
The famed Mexican manager Ignacio Beristain, full of confidence in his fighter Yessica "Kika" Chávez, said that not only will they expire, but they noquearán this Saturday at unbeaten argentina Yolanda Yesica Bopp in what will be the premiere of the "Kika" as world champion silver of the world boxing Council (WBC).

Bopp became very confident last night in Mexico, ensuring that victory is only a matter of patience, as she is far superior to the Chavez.   This statement made Don Nacho upset because he knows of the great work that they have been doing in the gym and the great effort that has made the "Kika" outside the practice room with his physical trainer.

"This Argentinian comes very ample, it is an advantage for us that creates much higher; I dare say that the "Kika" this Saturday takes the unbeaten and even knockout; Ecatepec only gonna get knocked out".

"We are serious people, that every day gives its maximum in the gimnsasio, have no need of making statements out of place, but that a foreigner who had never wanted to leave to fight outside your yard now come to our House and we despise... angry me much" "We're going to put in place and I hope that after this knockout is lower fumes and not put pretexts".

Chavez Valencia and the "Tuti" lead this Saturday evening "Dangerous curves" organized by Promociones del Pueblo, Sampson Boxing Promotions and Kochul Montiel productions with the support of Grupo Modelo, in the Civic Center of Ecatepec; an event that will be broadcast nationally by Televisa Deportes in its traditional "Crown on Saturday" signal.

For tomorrow Wednesday is scheduled a public workout with the protagonists of the explosive evening at 4 in the afternoon in the civic square, opposite the Town Hall, with the presence of "Kika", Bopp, Hugo "cuatito" Ruiz and Hugo Cazares explain.
