(JULY 16) On Saturday night
it was a "Wrap" for a very successful tournament for the female
boxers who fought in the 2013 Women's Golden Gloves Tournament
that was held at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport Hilton,
Florida.
Mikaela Mayer, won
in the finals in the Elite (132 lb division) and was also picked
as the "Best Boxer" in the Tournament. she fought Megan
Karcher, of Florida in the finals.
In the 125-lb divsion, Elite, Melissa Parker, of Texas won the
finals in her division.
In the Elite, 152 lb
division, Angel "Fallon" Farrer, of New York, came on top when
she won in the finals after defeating Tara Weisshaar of
Colorado.
In the Elite, 165 lbs division, Raquel Miller won over Suzanna
Rodriguez Griffin, IN.
