(SEPT 25) Tonight at the Five
Starr Banquet, Long Island City, Queens, New York, in the main
event Eileen "The Hawaiian Mongoose " Olszewski will be fighting
Patricia Alcivar in this 10-round contest for the vacant IFBA
Flyweight world title. This is a 10-bout fight card that
has been reported to WBAN as "sold out."
This fight with Alcivar will be her eighth World title fight in
her 15 fight pro career. Olszewski previously held
the WIBA World flyweight title from 2008 -2012 and the GBU World
flyweight title from 2010-2013.
Team Olszewski said, "Eileen will have an All-Star corner behind
her led by her Husband/Coach Matthew Olszewski. Matthew
was an MMA fighter with a combined 110-0 record. He will be
joined by current WBC 122 lb. champion Alicia Ashley, world
renown cutman Big George Mitchell and the star of the highly
acclaimed Showtime series "Ray Donovan" actor Liev Schreiber."
In March of 2013, the two fought in an eight rounder.
Alcivar won that fight by unanimous decision. Tonight
Olszewski will get an opportunity to avenge that loss, and by all
accounts should be an exciting action-packed bout between these
two.
At the scales: Olszewski weighed in at a fit and
ready 111.4 lbs and her Alcivar weighed in at the same identical
weight.
