Five-times, four-division World Boxing Champion Amanda 'The Real
Deal' Serrano just received her confirmation and approval letter
from the WBO regarding her petition to challenge Argentina’s WBO
Bantamweight World Champion the undefeated Sabrina Pérez. If
successful, Amanda will become the First Puerto Rican fighter in
its history to win a World title in Five Divisions.
Currently Serrano is tied with
Miguel Cotto at four Divisions and also the current Guinness
Book Of Records holder Alejandra Oliveras.
This will also make Serrano the first female to win in five
Divisions.
Team Serrano said, “Negotiations are currently being ironed out.
Team Serrano is looking at an April date. Will keep you posted
on exact date.”
