(JULY 19) Claressa Shields
represented USA Female Boxing at the highest level by winning
not one, but making history by winning two back-to-back Gold
Medals in the Olympics. Again she will bring female boxing to
the forefront by being headlined on Showtime again.
The young and fearless Olympian
is breaking barriers. We watched as some professional boxers
looked to become “The Face” of female boxing but just didn’t get
the nod from major promoters.
Now that momentum is on our side,
women boxers, managers and female based media outlets should
stand together. We need more publicity for the biggest fight in
female boxing in USA. You have the #1 rated Super Middleweight
boxer in the world Nikki Adler from Germany defending her WBC
World Title belt and fighting for the first time ever on
American Soil versus 2X Olympic Gold Medalist & WBC Silver
Champion, Claressa Shields, August 4th at MGM Grand Detroit,
Detroit Michigan.
We have worked diligently at the Beautiful Brawlers to keep
female boxing at the forefront through amateur standouts and
some major professional boxing veterans like Martha Salazar
whose quest for greatness was accomplished when she became the
First Mexican to win the WBC World Heavyweight title in San
Francisco, California.
We have kept going on an uphill battle to show that women boxers
were, are and always will be relevant. Still there are
incredibly talented veteran boxers in the USA that should be
promoted and put on major cards. Ava Knight and Mighty Melissa
McMorrow have earned that. They are the top notch boxers who
have fought anybody anytime in others backyards who have won
world titles.
LETS STAND TOGETHER TO PROMOTE
THE BEST IN FEMALE BOXING.
