(SEPT 18) As women's boxing is on
the rise, and we are seeing so many outstanding amateur female
boxers we would like to tell you about a great lil' boxer who
represents the Hillsboro Boxing Team, in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Meet Casiphia Arnold, who at this
time is currently ranked no 1. (bantamweight /11-12 year
olds) in the U.S.A. Arnold is 11 years old, and just about
to turn the big 12 in October.
She began competing as an amateur in May of 2016, and is
currently on a seven-fight winning streak, winning eight out of
her nine bouts this year, with already having 15 amateur fights,
bringing her amateur boxing record to 10-5.
Casiphia is from Hillsboro, Oregon, and as part of the Hillsboro
Boxing Team it is a small family operation.
With her father as her coach, and
her teammates are her 14 year old brother Miklo Arnold, who with
his own great accomplishments is currently ranked No. 4 in the
U.S.A, and her 19-year-old sister Kayla-Ann Carvalho, is
currently ranked No. 5 in the U.S.A. They all train for an
hour every morning and three hours every night, six days a week
in hopes of one day earning their spot on Team USA and the
United States Olympic Team.
WBAN was told by her coach that
Casiphia has won every tournament this year---only losing a
controversial decision in a match bout in March.
Overview of Casiphia's accomplishments:
*Tacoma Jr Golden Gloves in Tacoma Washington 2017
*USA Western Elite Qualifiers in Albuquerque New Mexico 2017

boxer to look out for, and is considered a young up-and-coming
prospect, and a rising star in the U.S.A. Amateurs. She is
driven, determined, and willing to do whatever it takes to be
the best in the U.S.A. and Hopefully one day the World!
