(NOV 7) WBAN has been
notified that Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, 4-0-0 (2KO), will be
fighting Tori “Sho Nuff” Nelson, 17-0 (2KO) at the Turning Stone
Casino, in Verona, New York on January 12, 2018.
The two will be featured in the main event on ShoBox after Dark,
according to our sources. Contracts have been signed and it
looks like 2018 will begin with a bang for sure with this great
matchup on the horizon!
We have been told that Shields
two belts (IBF, WBC) will be on the line in this bout, at ten
rounds of boxing action in the super middleweight division.
Shields fought in August of 2017, winning by a fifth round TKO
over Nikki Adler for the vacant IBF super middleweight belt, and
WBC Super middleweight division.
Nelson just recently fought on November 4, 2017at the Silver
Eagle Gun Arena, Ashburn, Virginia, winning by a second round
RTD in a scheduled ten round bout.
