On Saturday, September 1st Beautiful Brawlers Boxing will have
its 8th installment of this all female amateur boxing show.
50 boxers 8 years to 35 years old will be coming from all over
the nation and Canada to compete for the Beautiful Brawlers
Title.
This year we had more than 170 boxers sign up but we are limited
to matching only 50 boxers for 25 championship bouts. “We really
want to include everyone who signs up but in order for us to do
that we will have to become a ranking tournament which we are
planning on doing so next year.”
Beautiful Brawlers Boxing has
always focused on the girls. We started as a group of
professional boxers in Northern California
looking to help out all the young female boxers in our area to
get fights, get noticed and get sponsors but we have literally
grown
worldwide. This has been a labor of love and all the girls know
that this show is theirs, it’s for them, we set the platform and
they show their talent.
Boxing has gained popularity with amateur standouts who have
gone to the pro ranks. 2x Gold Medalist Claressa Shields, Katie
Taylor and Mikaela Mayer are making an impact and are leading
the show. Beautiful Brawlers was full steam ahead before this
and we never gave up. We have multiple sparring camps a year and
we also had the wonderful opportunity to have Mikaela Mayer
leading our group of boxers through warm ups and sparring at one
of them this year in Sacramento.
Thank you to Martha Salazar, Eliza Olson, Mighty Melissa
McMorrow and Carina Moreno for always being there to mentor,
answer questions and share experiences. Also thank you to Boxing
Meets Beauty who has joined forces with Beautiful Brawlers to
bring you the best in female boxing.
