5'7" featherweight Britain Hart,
now 30 years old, rated by #5 in the USA, and #42 worldwide is a
professional boxer and also competes in bare knuckles.
On February 2, 1990, the Cinderella story of Britain Hart’s life
began. By the age of 18, she had lived in three different
countries and just as many states in the United States.
Although she is known now for her boxing career, Britain was
demonstrating her indomitable spirit and work ethic long before
she ever stepped foot in a boxing gym.
A mother at 19, Britain earned a
bachelors degree in Sports Management from Lynchburg College in
2013 and continued her education with a Masters in Physical
Education from Old Dominion University.
At the age of 25, Britain stepped
her foot in a boxing gym and never left. In searching for an
outlet during a difficult time in her life, Britain had found
her passion. Just like Cinderella’s glass slipper, boxing was a
perfect fit for Britain Hart.
The time following her initial introduction to boxing would
prove to be as grueling and fast-paced as the sport of boxing
itself.
Britain established her
reputation as a brutal body puncher during her debut bout
against Crystal Sutton in October 2016. Just four weeks after
stopping Sutton in the second round, Britain followed up with a
first round knockout against Khadija Sanders.
In the time after her breakout
wins, Britain Hart expanded her fan base and earned a reputation
as a tough and tenacious fighter.
In 2018 Britain took Bare Knuckle
Champion Bec Rawlins to a controversial split decision in the
Bare Knuckle Boxing Fighting Championship. Although she lost the
decision, Britain had won the hearts and minds of the people
with her positive message, impressive fighting style, and
demonstrated ability to go the distance.
Britain returned to the Bare
Knuckle ring in 2019 just weeks before she began training at the
Hinojosa Boxing Club in Buena Vista, VA. Over the next three
weeks Britain would train relentlessly for a bout against the
respected boxing veteran Carly Batey in Batey’s hometown,
Charlotte, NC. Britain emerged victorious by unanimous decision
following four rounds of an all out war and captured the
interest of fighters and fans alike.
Moving on, Britain took
Mayweather Money team member Jamie Mitchell to a draw at the
Thomas and Mack center in Las Vegas, NV. Once again, Britain
demonstrated her ferocity in the ring and dedication to the
sport by fighting in front of 35,000 people with less than a
week to prepare.
Britain then made the hard choice
to once again drop everything and go to the outskirts of Philly
to train for Unique Harris who ended in yet another draw but a
lesson.
Going back home, Britain was
caught up in many hard life circumstances and one included
another abusive relationship that she has been trying so hard
for years to avoid being around again and while driving him home
he attacked her viscously causing a broken nose, stitches to put
her lip back in place and several lumps and bruises to the face
and head.
Following that incident Hart did
what she thought was best to take her mind off what had taken
place and not figuratively but literally go fight back for the
peace of mind she wanted. She took a fight in Texas against
Shuretta Metcalf that was surely highway robbery and ended in
Spilt decision but none the less it got her heart and mind back
to where it should be focused...moving forward.

With an amazing plan in motion,
and nothing else that matters mentality of course what happens;
Covid and three fights cancelled like that.
Her no matter what Britain kept
pushing and after March, June and July fight cancelled she found
one in August of 2020 for the rematch gassing Kim Wabik. That
fighting spirit and learning from past mistakes were evident
when she landed a first round TKO against a girl who has never
tasted canvas in her amateur and undefeated pro boxing career.
Britain finally rediscovered her
power. However being that Covid and everything else had been so
hard Britain was forced to go back home because she didn’t have
any financial backing and decided to work near home and train
long distance when she could.
BKFC reached out again for her to
fight in November and the answer wasn’t who; it was simply yes.
That epic fight continued the complete turnaround in her life as
she demonstrated she is a boxer and put a boxing clinic on
Randine Eckholm. Immediately after the fight Britain took no
hesitation in calling out UFC vet and newly signed star Paige
Vanzant in an infamous “youre Fucking next” with that fight in
motion and set for February 5, 2021.
Britain Hart, s continued flame on the inside burns brighter and
bigger as her message to any and everyone is that she is here to
rise; no matter what.
Britain Hart demonstrates the same qualities in life that she
showcases in the ring- persistence, grit, and dedication to
excellence. With nothing but opportunity ahead of her, the
Britain Hart story is really just beginning.
Pro-Boxer Britain Hart set to
take on ex-UFC Fighter Paige VanZant in highly-anticipated &
stacked Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship card on Feb. 5th, in
Lakeland, FL.
Hart, has three previous BKFC fights under her belt, and is
coming off a recent 4th Rd TKO in November. This will be PVZ’s
debut bout. This fight shares top-billing as a Co-Main Event on
an absolutely stellar card!
Best of skill to both of these tough Ladies, although I’m a
die-hard Hart fan for life!!! Fight will be aired on multiple
PPV platforms.
