Hailey Pennington, managed by Eruption Boxing Management, Gwen Legge Manager. Hailey is a 25-year-old professional boxer, gym owner, and coach from her hometown in West Virginia, is also known as the “Mountain State.”  Currently holding a 2-0 record as a pro in her boxing career, Hailey’s journey into the sport was influenced by her father, Justin Pennington, who was deeply involved in boxing. He owned a gym when Hailey was a child and spent much of his time there. She recalls telling him that she didn’t understand why people enjoyed hitting each other, to which he responded, "If you start now, you'd be a world champion by my age." Despite his encouragement, she wasn’t interested at the time.

At the age of 18, Hailey eventually walked into a boxing gym and never looked back, realizing that boxing was much more than just two people fighting. After two years of training, she entered her first National Tournament through USA Boxing in Shreveport Louisiana in 2021 and was ranked #3 in the country.

Over the next few years, she climbed to #2 in the nation in USA Boxing fighting in National Tournaments all over the country. With her success in boxing, Hailey, alongside her father, opened a gym in her hometown when she decided to turn professional, ensuring she always had a place to train.

As a gym owner and coach, Hailey now trains her own team of fighters, striving to grow the boxing community in her area and teach others the sport. She’s particularly motivated by the many girls in her gym, who inspire her in their own unique ways. Hailey aims to be a role model for these young athletes, hoping to one day inspire many others. Boxing has given her a sense of purpose, discipline, and meaning in her life, and she encourages others to try the sport as well.
