January 31, 2009 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Karen Dulin, 128, of Mystic, Connecticut, KO'd Nasia Brown, 122, 1:39 seconds of the second round. Brown was making her pro debut. The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

January 31, 2009 - Paris Middle School, Paris, Arkansas
Yvette McCullar won by a first round TKO over Nikia McCartgo.

January 31, 2009 - Salle des grand pres, Vendome, Loir-et-Cher, France
Featherweight Myriam Dellal won a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Dimitrova.

January 29, 2009 - Khon Kaen, Thailand
Nongmauy Sithkruleor
won a 10-round unanimous decision over Dan Bi Kim. The two were fighting for the WBC Jr. flyweight title. Scott Mallon said on the asianboxingnews.com, the following:"Kim fought aggressively throughout the bout and won swept the final five rounds on ABN’s scorecard. After warning the Korean fighter for holding in round three, referee Franz Marti deducted one point. From this point on he went on point deducting rampage, taking one point after another for the slightest infraction making it impossible for the Korean to win the bout without scoring a knockout. The judges’ scorecards read 97-91, 97-90, and 98-90. ABN had Sithkruleor the winner by the score of 95-91 including the five point deductions."

Junior featherweight Elina Tissen, 121, won a 10-rounder by points over Benedetta Kaloki. The two were fighting for a GBC belt. Final judges scores were 96-94. Report by Sue TL Fox:

Junior flyweight Nadja Loritz, 106¼, son a six-round unanimous decision over Elke Beinwachs, 118. [Logged into master search]

January 23, 2009, Radisson Star Plaza, Merrillville, Indiana
Lightweight Mary McGee, 133, won by a TKO in third round over Jessica Mohs, 131, when she did not answer the bell for the 3rd round. [Logged into master search]

January 23, 2009 - Isleta Casino and Resort, in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Holly Holm, 145.5,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Myriam Lamare, 144.5, of France.  The two were fighting for the WIBA Welterweight world championship.  WBAN will be received the video of this fight, and will be video-streaming the complete fight on the WBAN member's site in the next few days or so.   Chris Cozzone of New Mexico Boxing wrote the following: "Albuquerque's Holly Holm (23-1-3, 6 KOs) outboxed--but did not outslug France's Myriam Lamare (16-3, 9 KOs) over ten rounds to retain her WIBA welterweight belt. Holm built up an early lead, landing crisp rights on her foe, but Lamare came alive in the late rounds, bombing Holm with big rights and looping lefts. The scorecards read 96-94, 98-92 and 97-93 for Holm. NewMexicoBoxing had it 96-94."

January 23, 2009 - Hotel Conrad, in Maldonado, Uruguay
There were two women’s bouts on the card.  In one bout, Chris Namus, 137¾, won a six-round unanimous decision over Maria Elena Maderna, 137¾. The final judges scores were 60-56, 60-55, and 60-55.  Also, according to BoxRec, Tataina Giordano, 140, suffered her first loss when pro debuter, Roxana Laborde, 137¼, defeated her by a majority decision. Ina Menzer
, 125¾,  retained her WIBF/WBC belts by defeating Esther Schouten, 125¾,  by a 10-round unanimous decision. Final judges scores were: 96-94, 97-93 & 97-93. According to WBAN’s Correspondent, the fight was a great fight.

January 17, 2009 - Ferndale, Washington - Three Women's Bouts
The Silver Reef Casino filled half of the fight card on January 17th with women’s bouts. Six women, three fights, two of the rematches, and two Northwest belts resulted in just about everything a fight fan would like to see.  Molly McConnell stepped in to the ring to face Tammie Johnson in a rematch of a fight last year that though McConnell won, there were those ringside who believed should have leaned toward Johnson. 

January 15, 2009 - Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Houston, TX
Super Featherweight Crystal Delgado, 130, remained undefeated when she won a six-rounder over Michele Nielsen, 129.  Final judges scores were 59-54, 58-55, and 57-56.  

January 10, 2009 - Radisson Hotel, in Columbia, South Carolina
Angel Gladney
, 131, of Columbia, won by a first round TKO over her opponent Mercedes Gray, 131, of Wilson, North Carolina. Full Report,

Chirawadee Sisuk [aka: Winyu Paradorn Gym],lost a six-rounder to Teeraporn Pannimit in Bangkok. This was apparently a change in opponent from the original announcement.
