September 3, 2011 - Hotel Sheraton, Colon City, Panama
According to Boxrec, on September 3, 2011, at the Hotel Sheraton, in Colon City, Panama, junior flyweight Abigail Villar won by an eight-round unanimous decision over Yaditza Perez, and she won the WBC Latino junior flyweight title. Perez is now 2-7-0, and is not rated with BoxRec. Villar moves her record to 5-5-3 (1KO). This was also a rematch with these two, whereas Villar defeated Perez the first time in a four-rounder on June 3, 2011.  Perez came into this title fight with SIX STRAIGHT LOSSES, not winning a fight since 2008!
The only wins that Perez has on her record, came from her first two fights, defeating Damiana Duran, 0-1-0, in a four-rounder, and Carolina Montenegro, 1-1-2, winning by a majority decision in a four round bout in the year 2008.  How does one get an opportunity to fight for any title belt when they lost six straight times, in 2009, 2010, and 2011?  We really do not expect the WBC to answer this question at this point. They definitely establishing a "Track Record" with having some very good women's boxing title fights-----to the very lowest point of putting belts on the line where someone who does not even follow boxing would be scratching their head when they look at the stats.

September 3, 2011 - Karlstad CCC, in Karlstad, Sweden
Frida Wallberg
, 129, of Gothenburg, Sweden, successfully defended her WBC Super Featherweight World title against Canadian Olivia Gerula, 130, who was determined to take back her belt in this 10-round bout rematch that ended in a unanimous decision for Wallberg.  In another female bout, Mikaela Lauren TKO'd Eva Halasi in the second round, in a scheduled six round bout.
