June 4, 2022 - Ulrich-Pfeiffer-Halle, AalenUlrich-Pfeiffer-Halle, Aalen
Pre-fight remarks by WBAN:  Why was this for a world title? On Saturday night, June 4, 2022, at the Ulrich-Pfeiffer-Halle, Aalen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Ema Kozin, 21-1-1, is fighting Szilvia Szabados, 18-18-0 for a vacant WBF Super Welterweight title. Kozin fought in her last fight the likes of Claressa Shields---losing her first pro bout, and now this Saturday, she fights Szabados for a world title no less. Szabados has lost seven fights out of her last eight fights, and has not fought since 2020…Come on WBF----you can do better than this---matches like these have no place in today’s sport for world title bouts---don’t put the fire out in the sport.  Results:  DRUMROLL.  Szabados was stopped by TKO in the seventh round.  In the last seven fights for Szabados, she has loss now all seven times and she was fighting for a title?
