Well they did it to us again folks…Like a thief in the night, they snuck it
in and stuck it to boxing fans…..AGAIN! Just when we thought that the
promoter /matchmaker who utilizes the very talented IBA World Champion
Chevelle “Fists of Steel” Hallback on their cards would continue to use
viable opponents for Hallback-----they threw in a “stinker!”
According to news sources, last night in Savannah, Georgia, Hallback made a
VERY short night of fighting four-time loser, Michelle Ewing. Ewing has
been stopped or KO'd in all of her four fights, including her fight
last night with Hallback that ended early in the fight after being knocked
down three times. The two were not even in the same weight class, with Ewing
weighing in at 151, Hallback at 137. (Note: Ewing's record has been
confirmed on three different records sites that includes WBAN's records as a
winless boxer coming into the fight with a 0-4-0 record. If there are
unreported fights for Ewing, feel free to send in the information to WBAN.)

In front of about 1, 500 boxing fans, and promoted by Dakota Storm
Promotions, Olivia Pereira, of Canada, fought to a six-round
majority draw with Mia St. John. Pereira's team told WBAN that
they thought they had won the fight, and that they felt that Olivia had won
all the rounds, except for maybe one that St. John won. They went on to say,
"Lets do the fight again if Mia has the guts to step back in the ring with
Olivia. " News sources reported that this was easily the "most entertaining
bout" of the night. MIA's
Response about this fight: Mia told WBAN, "just to let WBAN know the
truth, one judge gave me 5 rounds to her one! The other two had it a
draw. The entire crowd protested and booed the decision because I clearly
won the fight! Michael Buffer had to calm them down by saying one judge did
have it for Mia. If Olivia thinks she won that fight she's clearly
delusional! I will gladly rematch her again as soon as possible just
to knock some sense into her!" Mia also talked about the weight, and said,
"you can also remind Olivia that she didn't even make weight and I let her
slide! I came in at 139 after drinking and eating all day and she came in at
142! The contract was 140 only because she couldn't make 135 then she
couldn't even make 140!" IN ANOTHER Women's Match,

There was a four-round heavyweight bout featuring 6'0" 193-lb Kathy

This four-rounder was televised on ESPN2 "Tuesday Night Fights."
One fan wrote into WBAN and they described the fight as
"pathetic." Another fan described it as "unentertaining and boring." A
disappointed fan that has enjoyed Rivers in the past wrote, "It was ugly"

because the other woman was worse." Folks...This IS NOT good for women's

McFarland, a 2-3 boxer, who's only wins comes from "Tomato cans."
