Evette Colazzo: Small Stature, Big Action!
Source: Press Release
January 17, 2008

(JAN 17) She may be small in stature, but she's big on action! Undefeated featherweight Evette Colazzo (2-0, 2 KOs) looks to continue her knock out ways when she returns to the ring on February 1 at The Radisson at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana. Presented by One In A Million Inc., Colazzo is a late addition to "Nations Collide" featuring lightweight prospect "Dangerous" Don Moore (14-0-1, 10) vs. Francisco "Panchito" Zepeda (16-6, 9) of Indianapolis /Cocula, JA, Mexico in the main event. Because of her exciting style, Colazzo, a two-time Chicago Golden Gloves Champion, has a growing fan-base in the region. "She's fearless," said promoter Octavius James. "She's a petite young lady who isn't a big talker, until she gets in the ring and then her fists start talking."

In a classic "Boxer vs. Brawler" fight-fans match-up, Gary's undefeated "Dangerous" Don Moore faces Francisco "Panchito" Zepeda in the evening's main event. "Panchito has never been in a boring fight," said James. "Ever since Don saw Zepeda fight that warrior style in Indy, he's been asking to face him. Don wants to test his boxing skills against a brawler with a huge heart. Win or lose, Panchito will bring it all night long."

One In A Million's "franchise player," undefeated Michael Walker (17-0-1, 11) of Chicago's southside, returns to the ring for a middleweight bout against an opponent to be named. Walker has his sites set on Ronald Hearns Jr. (17-0, 13 KOs), son of the legend, for a showdown of undefeated prospects.

"I respect his father," Walker said of Hearns Jr. "But me vs. Junior is the perfect match-up. We're both undefeated at 17-0. I want to be the one to hand Junior his first loss."

Also in action, light heavyweight Jimmy Perez Jr. (2-1, 1) of Hammond fights an immediate re-match with Matt Short (4-9, 3). Super middleweight Jimmy "The Fighting School Teacher" Holmes (16-1-2, 9) of DeMotte, super middleweight Derrick "Superman" Findley (9-2, 5) of Gary and welterweight Ed Ochoa (2-0, 2) of Hobart, all take on opponents to be announced.
