will start a new path in her career when she headlines a fight
card from the Arena San Juan Pantitlan in Mexico City, Mexico.
After several proposals received did not come to fruition, Team

Motu became the NEW New Zealand National (NZPBA Version)
Lightweight champion, after stopping Tania Reid in the third
round.
Undefeated boxer Mea Motu has improved her record to 6 wins with
3 wins coming by way of knockout after taking on the
Australasian Champion Tania Reid. Mea completely out-powered and
out-punched Tania, knocking Tania Reid down every round till
referee John Conway waved it off in the third round. This is the
first professional boxing title Mea Motu has won in her career

enough to possibly qualify for a belt and the challenger being

Welterweight Marianne Ahlborg, of Gothenburg, Sweden,
began boxing later in life a the age of 21 years old.
She also was very active with other different sports during her
whole life, and one in particular was participating in soccer. Ahlborg told
WBAN, "I got tired of that and decided to try something new and
I thought that boxing would suit me as I always have loved hard
physical training and have always been a strong and tough girl."

Maori boxer Diane Beazley is one of New Zealand’s pioneers in
