(APR 21)  WBAN had the pleasure of catching up with retired world boxing champion Daisy "The Lady" Lang.  Lang boxed professionally from 1996 to 2004.  Lang was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, but during her boxing years she fought out of Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.  Lang had an accumulative record of 19-3-1 (7KO). During her time as a pro she fought some of the noted women boxers that included Germany's Regina Halmich, Silke Weickenmeier, Michelle Sutcliffe, Kathy Williams, Michelle Aboro, and more. Boxing Action in Japan: Momoko Kanda Wins by a Unanimous Decision

(APR 6)  On Friday night in San Diego, California, there were two female bouts on the card. In the first female bout, six rounds, Amaris Quintana won a six-round Junior Flyweight unanimous decision over Susan Reno.  In the main event, the fight was literally a war between Kenia Enriquez vs. Jolene Blackshear. In the seventh round the fight was stopped by TKO with Blackshear having a cut that needed stitches over her right eye. More soon!
