Ewell Wins WIBA Title

(NOV 2) Last night in St. Maarten, Netherlands, there were two women’s bouts on the card.  In one bout, Carlette Ewell, 174, of the United States won a 10-round unanimous decision over Gwendolyn O’Neil, 173. The two were fighting for the WIBA light heavyweight title.  Final judges scores were 97-95, 98-96, 99-95. In another women’s bout,  pro debuter Morailey De Windt, TKO’d Scarlet Flugencio in the first round of a scheduled four-rounder.
